HOLLAND, MI - June 15, 2007... Holland-based ORG - a company that manufactures a complete line of home organization products ranked 16 in the 2007 Building Products Top 100 Award. This annual editorial award recognizes the 100 products that generated the greatest amount of interest among its readers. ORG ranked 16 out of hundreds of new and improved products mentioned in the Building Products and other Hanley Woods Magazines in 2006. In its 9th year, the Building Products Top 100 Award is one of the industry's most prestigious since the recognition comes directly from builder and remodeling customers.
Closet organization was one of the top two biggest categories on the annual top 100 list. The magazine Editorial Director Jean Dimeo noted that builders and remodelers are intrigued by products that offer solutions to their problems, that represent significant upgrades to existing products, and that will make their customers say, "wow". "We are seeing a trend that more customers want custom closets in their homes and they are willing to trade-up for this amenity. The award was presented to ORG, a division of the Windquest Companies Inc. at its employee meeting on April 12, 2007 at its manufacturing facility in Holland, Michigan. Tim Ahlering, Midwest sales manager for Hanley Wood Business Media, and Michael Boyle, Group Publisher for the Design/Technology Groups at Hanley Wood Business Media, presented the award to the company. ORG received recognition in the May/June Building Products Magazine top 100 products issue.
